Playboy Relaunches Magazine, Website in Colombia

BOGOTA, Colombia — Playboy magazine has relaunched in Colombia.

It’s the first time since 2012 that the magazine will be available to readers in Colombia.

Along with the print version, Playboy Colombia has rolled out a brand-new website — Playboy.co.

Both the magazine and site were relaunched today by licensee Tasty Media. The magazine now is published in 25 countries.

“We are delighted to be joining with our Tasty Media partners to bring the world of Playboy to a Colombian audience,” said Reena Patel, Playboy Enterprises’ chief commercial officer. “We believe Playboy’s unique combination of beautiful photography and engaging, thoughtful, provocative content will be a big hit with Colombian readers.”

Tasty Media executive Diego Ortiz said that his company is very excited to be part of “Playboy’s world and its values of freedom, diversity and humanity.”

“Tasty Media was born to produce serious, responsible independent journalism and we know that Colombian readers are going to be thrilled with the mix of content featured in Playboy Colombia,” he said.

Playboy Colombia — serving up mostly softcore fare like its U.S. cousin — focuses on entertainment, lifestyle, culture, heritage and models.

Advertisers in the inaugural issue include the brands Jaguar, Levi’s, Nike and JW Marriott, among numerous others.
